A big thanks to our friends at TRIEC and the Professional Immigrant Networks (PINs) community — immigrant association leaders, employers, employment services agencies, government and other key stakeholders for this incredible PINs Annual Event! This year’s theme was “Collaborating for Greater Impact.”
This was the annual gathering in support of TRIEC’s Professional Immigrant Networks (PINs) project. The project works with the leaders of 61 immigrant-led professional associations to help build their capacity to engage employers more effectively
Professional Immigrant Networks (PINs) is a TRIEC program that increases the capacity of professional immigrant associations to connect their members to employment. PINs associations are volunteer-led, member-based organizations with an employment focus, run by and for skilled immigrants. TRIEC provides a platform for association leaders to share learnings, leverage skills, access resources and tools, build their profile and collaborate with employers, service providers and others stakeholders. PINs is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and sponsored by Scotiabank.
“We’re grateful to have TRIEC in our community creating some of the most innovative and exciting events in Canada. We can’t wait for what’s to come in 2016 and beyond.” – Jack Nodel, Co-CEO, ARES Staffing Solutions
